Centering prayer: consenting to God

Everything in life asks for output: produce, explain, improve. Centering prayer is one place where you're allowed to stop running the universe. You don't have to feel holy or empty your mind. Each time you drift and gently return to your sacred word, you're saying: I let go, and let myself be loved as I am.
